ReStore the Block is Habitat for Humanity's neighborhood disaster response initiative, bringing scheduled volunteer groups into communities affected by severe weather to help residents begin the recovery process. Volunteers assist with clearing debris, raking yards, trimming damaged branches, and tackling other outdoor cleanup projects that make properties safer and more accessible. Just as importantly, teams connect with homeowners to learn what additional support they may need and help identify opportunities for continued assistance. By working alongside neighbors, ReStore the Block helps communities take the first steps toward recovery, one block at a time.
