What We Do

Please note our start time of 8:00am for General Volunteers. The workday will finish by 4:00pm. We have a required orientation/safety meeting promptly at 8:00am, so please allow time to arrive, park, and get checked in prior to 8:00am.

On our website, we have a full construction manual, outlining Habitat’s construction procedures. If you’d like to familiarize yourself with our processes, please click on the link below and look for the chapter relating to the task you’re assigned to.

  • Reusable water bottle or coffee cup.
  • Bag/camping chair so you’ll have somewhere to sit during breaks and lunch.

If you have any of the following, you are invited to bring your own. If you don’t have these items, Habitat keeps a supply of them in our trailers for your use. Items are BOLD type are often most comfortable when you have your own as they require some custom fit.
